Some customers complain that in Windows SDI mode the windows of the application are no longer clearly delimited. My application runs in multi-window mode.
This is especially noticeable when the 4D application is brought from the background to the foreground. However, the click on the task bar usually only brings one window to the front, which is then placed over the Outlook window, for example.
I would like to optionally emulate an MDI background window for the user in SDI mode. The easiest way would be if there would be a command “Set Window Order”. This would allow the windows to be arranged in their order on the screen
Set Window Order(winref, order) //(order -1=background)
or Set Window to Background(winref)
Or is there another possibility or plugin that is currently not in my mind ?
Any suggestions ?
