Preemptive mode needed on 4D Remote as a web server

4D v17R6
WS 2012 R2

I need preemptive mode to work on 4D Remote as a web server.

For these two to not be in conflict they must be describing different things.

Please help!

Availability of preemptive mode for Web processes
The use of preemptive mode for Web processes is only available in the following contexts:

use of 4D Server or 4D local mode (4D in remote mode does not support preemptive mode)

This reference below:
https://doc.4d.com/4Dv18/4D/18/Preemptive-4D-processes.300-4505293.en.html
…says
The use of preemptive mode is available in 4D 64-bit versions only. The following execution contexts are supported:

Preemptive execution
4D Server X
4D remote X (with ServerNet only - see ServerNet Network Layer (compatibility))
4D single-user X
Compiled mode X

or, could they possibly represent different moments in time?

Preemptive processes on 4D remote (17 R4)

I think there was a bug in 17 R4 where web processes on remote were not preemptive,
but that has been fixed in 17 R5 (ACI0099082).
