It would be good for our standard program that 4D save the preferences for 4D included Backup from preferences folder inside of each database.
The problem is that, each time we have to upgrade a program in the client with a new 4D version we have to create a new folder. Then, we have to remember at least, to copy the Backup preferences from Database Preferences folder in the new folder.
We suggest that 4D create a hidden table (4D_Preferences) in each database and save in this table all the 4D preferences included Backup.
Then, when opening database 4D can check if the preferences exists and if not can create automatically, or asking the user.
We are going to do it, meantime, it for backup in a own table. But we think it would be good for everyone.
