WIN32API vs 4d-plugin-window-control for Window Icon


I am investigating Miyako’s plugin 4d-plugin-window-control
I want to use it to replace WIN32API commands gui_LoadIcon, gui_GetWindowFrom4DWin, gui_SetIcon
However, with WIN32API I can load the icon once and then set it every time I open a window
With 4d-plugin-window-control command WND USE ICON FILE (window;path) you have to give the path.
Question : Does this have a performance impact?
